Exploring the Dark Side of the Moon By Paul LaViolette | July 4, 2015 - 8:35 am |July 4, 2015 Astronomy, ETI Search, News! 7 Comments I am posting this interesting article by Kathy Forti about a NASA scientist’s disclosure of alien activity on the dark side of the Moon. I believe it closely relates to the bright spot phenomenon seen on Ceres. More →
New Photos from Dawn Spacecraft Show “Suburb” Bright Spots Appearing on Ceres By Paul LaViolette | June 15, 2015 - 11:44 am |June 29, 2015 Astronomy, ETI Search, News! 22 Comments An image of the crater released by NASA on June 6th taken from an altitude of 4500 km shows the bright spots in even greater detail; see latest photo above. The interpretation that we are viewing a planetoid based space city or mining colony continues to look even more probable. More →
IS ET the Source of the Mysterious Fast Radio Bursts? By Paul LaViolette | May 8, 2015 - 3:18 am |May 8, 2015 Astronomy, ETI Search, News! 17 Comments The answer to the above question, in my opinion, is very likely yes. Over the years radio astronomers have been reporting that they have observed mysterious bursts of broad band radio emission, single pulses of extremely high radio brightness lasting as little as a few milliseconds. Colonization of Ceres by a Breakaway Civilization? By Paul LaViolette | April 24, 2015 - 1:40 am |May 12, 2015 Astronomy, ETI Search, News! 31 Comments When NASA’s Dawn ion propulsion spacecraft approached Ceres and began relaying back photos clearer than any seen to date, astronomers were surprised to find two bright spots within a crater on its surface. New Observations Confirm the Galactic Superwave Theory By Paul LaViolette | February 22, 2015 - 10:03 pm |March 4, 2015 Astronomy, News! 29 Comments It took over 30 years to confirm a key thesis of the galactic superwave theory, but now incontrovertible evidence has been found. Observations of the active galaxy PDS 456 made with NASA’s NuSTAR space telescope (Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array), in operation since June 2012, and with the European Space Agency’s XMM-Newton space telescope, now show the presence of an extremely high velocity wind moving outward isotropically away from the galaxy’s center in all directions at up to 30% of the speed of light. Galactic core still calm. By Paul LaViolette | November 4, 2014 - 5:49 pm |February 7, 2015 Astronomy, News! 151 Comments Things still look quiescent at the Galactic center as of November 14th. Most likely the G2 cloud has passed its pericenter. More →
New Keck Telescope Observations of the G2 Cloud By Paul LaViolette | October 9, 2014 - 9:16 pm |November 7, 2014 Astronomy, News! 23 Comments Today a group of U.S. astronomers posted a preprint of the results of Keck Observatory imaging of the G2 cloud which they did last March: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1410.1884.pdf More →
Double p-wave from the direction of the Galactic center By Paul LaViolette | September 12, 2014 - 8:56 pm |October 10, 2014 Astronomy, News! 29 Comments Just about an hour ago two seismic p waves ripped through the earth, through me, through my house and through my neighbors’ houses. More →
The Galactic center became active today By Paul LaViolette | September 10, 2014 - 4:11 pm |October 10, 2014 Astronomy, News! 15 Comments September 10th, a Swift X-ray spike alert was sent out. An abrupt spike in X-ray emission was detected September 10th coming from the Galactic center, Sgr A*. More →
Telltale Signs of a Cosmic Ray Shower? By Paul LaViolette | July 12, 2014 - 10:43 pm |October 10, 2014 Astronomy, News! 67 Comments I don’t know if this is anything worth reporting, but I will report it anyway. Today on two occasions while watching TV there was an interference flash of the picture and the audio gave off what sounded like a static discharge. More →
New Observations Indicate G2 Cloud Has not Yet Reached Orbital Pericenter By Paul LaViolette | July 10, 2014 - 2:22 pm |July 12, 2014 Astronomy, News! 25 Comments Observations reported in the Astronomers Telegram on June 30th by astronomers Eckart, et al. indicate that the G2 cloud is still on its way inward toward the Galactic core and hence has not yet reached its orbital pericenter; see report here: More →
